Privacy Policy

If you use the contact form on the Contact page, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit, so we can read and reply to you.

If you subscribe for updates, we collect your email address, so we can send occasional notes about new films, directors, and site updates.

To provide locally relevant suggestions, the site contacts country.is to obtain a country-level location estimate. Country.is receives your IP address as part of that request. We receive only the returned country code and temporarily store it in your browser's session storage.

Your Saved list, recently viewed films, and display preferences are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us. Clearing your site data removes them.

We use submitted information to respond to messages, send requested archive updates, provide country-relevant suggestions, and operate and maintain the site.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers that help us run the site (see below).

Contact messages and subscriber emails are stored with Supabase, our database provider. Country-level suggestions use country.is. Pages that display YouTube videos (embedded in privacy-enhanced mode) or images hosted by TMDB or KMDb cause your browser to connect directly to those services. They may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser information under their respective privacy policies.

You can unsubscribe from update emails at any time through the Contact page. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information that we can reasonably identify as relating to you.

We may update this policy as the site changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
